Called the "mini metropolis" of Northern Norway, Bodo has a vibrant and dynamic soul thanks to its small shops, culinary exploration and many cultural events it hosts. It is also the ideal place to plan an excursion to one of many parks or to the atmosphere of the Arctic Circle: for sports lovers it is the ideal place for kayaking or hiking.

Before the trip, many tourists book a car in Norway online to get a favorable rental rate, see more attractions and not depend on tour groups. At Oslo airport, the cost of a compact class car starts from 18 euros per day, at Bodø airport the cost is about the same - from 19 euros per day.

The cathedral was built of concrete, and the first stone was laid in 1954. The church with sculpture outside can accommodate almost 900 people. A 12-meter stained-glass window rises above the altar. The cathedral can count on an independent 36-meter tower with 3 bells.
