DOCUMENTS NEEDED TO PICK UP THE CAR
Upon picking up the car, the driver must provide a credit card in his name with sufficient funds for the deposit, an international driver's license, and the voucher received by e-mail after booking a car on the site. If more than one person drives the vehicle, additional drivers will need to confirm and show their valid driver's license.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RENT A CAR WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD?
Almost all rental companies require a credit card. Debit, electronic, and virtual cards may be declined.
A list of accepted cards for renting each specific car is provided in the "Payment" section of the rental conditions:
-
AGE LIMIT FOR DRIVERS
The standard age allowance for drivers is 23-70 years old with no extra charge. However, all companies have different restrictions, so we recommend checking them in the "Driver" section of the rental conditions for your chosen car.
Young drivers aged 18-23 or pensioners over 70 can also rent a car but are subject to an additional risk fee charged by the rental company. The fee can be found in the "Driver" section, though as a rule, it is an additional 10-20 euros per day.
-
DEPOSIT AND DEDUCTIBLE
The deposit covers the deductible and the cost of fuel. The rental company thus guarantees full or partial compensation for the cost of damage (depending on the extent of the damage). The deposit is restituted if the customer returns the car in the same condition it was before the rental.
The deductible is the maximum amount of the deposit that the rental company does not return in case of unforeseen circumstances (there is a damage deductible and a theft deductible).
For example, if the amount of damage to the car is 2000 EUR, and the damage deductible is 400 EUR, the rental company will charge the customer only 400 EUR. All expenses over the deductible amount are covered by CDW insurance policy.
For an additional fee you can extend your insurance to a zero deductible. Full coverage can be issued by the rental company, on our website, or in a third-party insurance company.
The amount of the deductible under the standard CDW policy, and the cost of the rental company’s full insurance coverage are listed in the "Insurance" section of the rental conditions for your chosen car.
ATTENTION! Upon picking up the car at the rental company office, you likely will be asked to pay for insurance. If you have already purchased third-party insurance, be careful not to buy the same service twice from different suppliers twice.
-
CANCELING AND CHANGUNG A BOOKING
We offer a flexible policy for cancellation and booking changes for most vehicles and car rental companies.
In 98% of cases, you can cancel the order without penalty 24 hours before the start of the rental period. If canceled less than 24 hours in advance, a fee of 50 EUR will be charged. In rare cases, the free cancellation period is 48 hours before the start of the rental (e.g. for companies like Sixt, Hertz, and Firefly). There may be other conditions for rare vehicles or special offers also.
We recommend checking the cancellation and booking change policies in the "Provider" section.
-
HOW TO FIND A CAR HIRE COUNTER AT THE AIRPORT?
When booking a car, pay attention to the "Pick-up Location". If the rental company’s office is located in the airport terminal, follow the airport signs for "Car Rental." As a general rule, all rental company offices are located together. If you have booked a car marked "Free Shuttle Bus," information about the location will be indicated on your voucher. In such cases, the company provides a free taxi or shuttle bus to their office (usually a 5-7 minute drive from the terminal).
You can always ask the information desk at the airport about information on rental companies, their contacts, and locations.
-
DRIVER'S LICENCE
To avoid misunderstandings, we recommend you reading the driver’s license requirements in the "Driver" section of the rental conditions.
Drivers with less than 2 years of experience may be asked by the rental company to pay for the "young driver" service.
In some cases, you may be required to have an international driver's license, even though the country in which you rent a car recognizes a local driver's license as valid under the Vienna Convention.
The list of countries under the Vienna Convention can be found here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Driving_Permit
The text of the Vienna Convention is available on the official website:

-
BORDER CROSSING
In most cases, crossing borders and traveling to other countries is allowed. However, some cars may have travel restrictions for specific countries or islands, and some rental companies may charge an additional fee.
You can find all this information in the "Travel Restrictions" section of the lease for your chosen vehicle.
-
RETURNING THE CAR TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION
You can specify the location and city, where you would like to return the car by checking "Return to another Location" in the search form. In this case, only vehicles that meet the specified criteria will be selected.
Unlike most other companies, we immediately display the final cost, taking into account the surcharge for returning the vehicle to another location.
The amount of the additional fee will be specified on the vehicle selection page in the "One-way Fee" column:
In most cases, it is possible to return the car in another city even after the beginning of the rental period. You should check this possibility and its conditions with the rental company directly. Call the phone number in the rental contract for reconciling any additional fees.
-
FUEL POLICY
The fuel policy outlines the rules of payment for fuel. Though the rules differ for each company, often you will need to fill the tank before returning the car. You can learn more about these guidelines in the “Fuel Policy” section when booking a car through our website. Information about the fuel policy will be specified on your voucher and rental agreement, which you sign with the rental company when you receive the car.
-
WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT
Your contract will include the phone numbers of emergency and technical service. In the event of an accident or breakdown of the car, you should immediately call the rental company and report it. Be sure to keep copies of all documents that you have signed. In case of an accident, keep a copy of the police report and the accident report.
-
ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT
When booking your vehicle, you can choose additional equipment and services (such as GPS-navigation, child seats, snow chains, etc.). Payment for any additional equipment and services occurs when picking up the car from the rental company.
-
LATE RETURN
Standard conditions for most companies are as follows: if you return the car with a delay of up to 12 hours, half of the cost of daily rental is charged. If the delay is more than 12 hours, the full day’s rental will be charged. In some cases, additional penalties may apply, you can specify their amount directly from rental company.
In case of an expected delay, be sure to notify the rental company.
-
PICKING UP AND RETURN AFTER WORKING HOURS
Specify the date and time you want to pick up and return the car in the search form, and we will show only those cars available for rent outside of working hours.
Please note that in some cases, there is an additional service charge for non-working hours.
This charge will be specified after selecting the car but paid directly to the rental office upon picking up the car.
When returning a car after hours, as a rule, you need to park the car and return the keys to a key box at the car rental desk.
If you plan to return the car after hours, we recommend that you check the return procedure directly with the rental company.
-
MAKE AND MODEL OF THE CAR
According to the rental rules of all rental companies, you can usually choose the main features of the vehicle, but not a specific model. This is because a particular model can break, get into an accident, be detained by the previous tenant, etc.
Your voucher will contain a code, indicating the main parameters (e.g. CDAR). Below is a table with code decoding:
However, in some cases, you can book a specific model. If such a possibility exists, you will see a special note next to the vehicleы in the search results.
-
CHANGING THE TERMS DURING THE RENTAL PERIOD
If you need to extend the rental period, call the rental company and stablish the number of additional days. Usually, there are no difficulties with this.
You can also return the car before the date specified in the contract, but in this case, the refund for unused days is usually not returned as per the lease agreement.
-
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE VOUCHER, WHAT DO I DO?
Check the status of your booking in the “My Bookings” section on our website. Most bookings are instant, though they can take up to 48 hours.
A misspelled email address is also a common cause. If you cannot enter the «My orders» section, please contact our operator by phone or email and we will send you a copy of the voucher.
-
MINIMAL RENTAL PERIOD
You can rent a car for less than a day, even as short a period as 1 hour, though the rental price will be the equivalent of 1 full day.
-
LIMITED MILEAGE
Most mini/economy/standard class cars are offered without any mileage limitations. For more information, check the rental conditions in the "Mileage Policy" section of the lease for the car you have chosen.
