Parking in Zagreb
Partially on all streets of Zagreb, parking is paid. The cost of parking depends on the distance zone (1, 2, 3) from the city center and differ in the color of the road sign:
- red - the maximum allowable parking time is 1 hour;
- yellow - the maximum allowed time is 2 hours;
- green - the time spent in the parking lot is 3 hours or more.
The cost of street parking ranges from 5 kunas (zone 3) to 15 kuna (1 zone). Parking spaces are often free on weekends.
Parking spaces are equipped with parking meters that accept coins for payment. The ticket should be placed on the inside of the car on the windshield so that it is clearly visible. There are alternative payment options:
- payment via SMS indicating the car number - you can pay for 1 hour, after this time you need to send a new SMS;
- payment through PayDo and Aircash applications to which you need to link your card; Instructions are posted at the parking lot.
