The Cathedral of St. Bartholomew is famous for its observation deck, from which you can see every corner of the city. An important shrine is located in the Gothic building. This is a statue of the Virgin Mary.
Kutna Hora
A town with an extraordinary history. It appeared at the silver deposit in the 13th century. For a long time, the settlement provided the Czech Republic with precious metal. But all good things come to an end. So the precious vein was exhausted. Kutna Hora ceased to be useful and was gradually forgotten. But the sights remained as a memory of greatness. A gloomy feeling remains after visiting the Ossuary. Chapel of All Saints is decorated with creepy skeletons. The spectacle is mesmerizing and repulsive. In the town, it will be interesting for tourists to look at the Hradek castle and the church of St. Jacob.
The Cathedral of St. Barbara is considered the main attraction. It is located very well. The building cannot be overlooked. The interior decoration is decorated with statues. Some are outwardly very unusual.
Olomouc
For some reason, this city is undeservedly not popular with visitors. Perhaps the reason is that it is located quite far from the standard tourist centers. But there are also many interesting things here. Olomouc impresses with the number of fountains. Some of them are dedicated to mythical figures: Mercury, Jupiter, Hercules, Saturn. The city of students also has its own astronomical clock. An impressive sight. It is simply impossible to get past them. As in many parts of the Czech Republic, there is a plague column here. The baroque masterpiece is decorated with sculptures.
Since the city is called a student city, it must be said about the educational institution. Palacký University was founded over 4 centuries ago. But it is still the center of attraction for young minds.
Liberec
Quiet city. An amazing unity of fabulous nature and architectural masterpieces. The Town Hall is located on the central square. Its image is on almost all local postcards. The kids will surely love the zoo. It is quite different from Prague, but it also deserves attention. The main attraction for families was the water park Babylon. What is not here. Amazing slides and rides, funny exhibits, labyrinth, shooting gallery, amusement park. Great holiday for adults and children.
Czech Krumlov
UNESCO experts evaluated the small town and included it in the heritage list. It's absolutely deserved. It has a unique atmosphere. The center is decorated with the Plague Column. This feature unites many cities not only in the Czech Republic, but throughout Europe. Krumlov Castle is the main attraction. It's huge. The whole complex consists of 5 yards. On the territory there is a Bear ditch. The name is not accidental. Here, like many years ago, club-footed animals live.
For those who like to tickle their nerves, the Museum of Torture is open in Cesky Krumlov. An ominous sight. Once a year, locals celebrate the Feast of the Five Petal Rose. people dress up in ancient costumes and arrange processions.
Karlovy Vary
There is no person who has not heard about this resort. The city is famous for its mineral waters and sanatorium treatment. Accordingly, they come here not for spectacles.
